We had a great night on August 27th at the Moncton High School. Three other telescopes were set-up alongside the observatory, including a giant custom-built 16" Dobsonian on loan from RASC-NB. Roughly 100 people showed up to look through our telescopes. The highlights of the evening was the beautiful planet Saturn, as well as a spectacularly bright Iridium satellite flare. We also observed Mars, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae.
